Beef Wellington Recipe

Beef Wellington recipe origin is unclear but it was first prepared by Arthur Wellesley. Beef wellington recipe was first published in 1966, is very crispy and hearty recipes among children and youngsters. Beef Wellington recipe is full of energy and protein. Ingredients:-
Beef tenderloin…….2 1/2 pounds
Butter, softened…….2 tbsp
Onion, chopped…….1
Sliced fresh mushrooms…….1/2 cup
Liver pate…….2 ounces
Salt and pepper……. according to taste
Frozen puff pastry, thawed…….1 package
Egg yolk, beaten…….1
Beef broth…….1 can
Red wine…….2 tbsp
Butter…….2 tbsp
Procedure:-
(1) Pre-heat the oven at 425 degrees F.
(2) Prepare the baking dish with foil paper and spread butter over it. Now place beef pieces on it and put it in oven and cook for 15 minutes, until meat became brown.
(3) Remove the pan and let it cool. Pour butter in large cooking pan over medium heat. Sauté onion and mushrooms in butter for 4- 5 minutes until onion became tender and let it cool.
(4) Now mix together pate and 2 tbsp butter with salt and paper. Spread pate over beef, prepare top with onions and mushrooms mixture.
(5) Roll the puff pastry dough and place the beef in centre of pastry. Fold it and seal the edges with egg yolk. Bake it again over 450 degrees F for 10 minutes until pastry became golden brown.
(6) Put the pastries out and garnished with salad.
